One for the Swifties! These Taylor Swift paintings are so much fun to make! We’ll take kids step by step through creating their very own Taylor inspired art work on canvas, and listen to plenty of her tunes along the way!
We encourage everyone to unleash their creativity and add their own brand of Taylor flair to their artwork.
CUPCAKES
These delicious looking artworks are made using all kinds of fun materials! We’ll get stuck into acrylic paint, glitter markers, posca pens and washi tape - all the fun things! Children are encouraged to experiment and get creative! Everyone will leave with a bright cupcake they can display proudly at home!
SQUISHMALLOW!
Paint your own sweet Squishmallow character using acrylic paint on canvas! In this fun painting party, children can work away on their own easels while trying their hand at different painting techniques, colour blending and mixing. Everyone will leave with their own canvas masterpiece to hang proudly at home!
BLUEY
Calling all Bluey fans! We’ll guide you step by step to draw and paint your very own Bluey (or Bingo!) using acrylic markers and watercolour paint. Then we’ll get stuck into glitter markers, washi tape and posca pens to make super fun backgrounds for our Heeler family characters!
Everyone can take their Bluey paintings home to hang at the end.
DRAGONS
Make a magical dragon artwork!
Kids will be shown how to design and paint their own dragon using watercolour paint, chalk pastel and bright posca pens. We encourage everyone to have fun with this painting and really make it unique!
All young artists will have a fabulous flying dragon artwork to take home at the end of the party!
BALMY
Paint your own dreamy sunset using acrylic paint on canvas! In this fun painting party, children can work away on their own easels while trying their hand at different painting techniques, colour blending and mixing.

HAPPY TURTLES
Create a friendly turtle using oil pastels, watercolour paints and inks! Together we will learn how to paint and design our turtles so they pop right out of their inky blue oceans.
Everyone can take their turtle artworks home to show off!
UNICORNS!
These magical unicorns are always very popular at TinkerBox! We’ll guide kids through the basic drawing, then encourage our young artists to give their beautiful unicorns personalities of their own!
Everyone will leave with their own canvas painting to display proudly at home!
party FAQ
How much do our parties cost?
Our parties begin at $340 for up to 10 children and $15 per child after that. We can comfortably accommodate up to 16 children in our studio.
What is the structure of the parties?
TinkerBox parties run for 90 minutes and are lots of fun! We’ll get some tunes going while the kids get stuck into their chosen art project, finishing up with everyone decorating a large ‘Happy Birthday’ banner on the wall. The last 15 minutes or so we leave for the cake and any party food you might like to have (we can tweak that time depending on how much you think you might need). We don’t provide food, but we have a kitchen with a fridge and oven so you can store and heat up snacks if you like.
Do you have a minimum age for parties?
The minimum age for our parties is 6 years old.
What does TinkerBox supply?
We provide all art materials, art activity, smocks, invitations, cups, plates, cutlery, water jugs and a knife for the cake.
We also provide lolly bags for all of your guests.
How many guests can we invite?
Our space allows for up to 16 children.
What days/times are parties held on?
We run parties on Saturdays and Sundays between 10am and 4pm.
What should we bring to the party?
Party food, birthday cake and candles. Feel free to bring any decorations / balloons you like!
What time should we arrive?
You are welcome to arrive 15 minutes before the start time of the party.
Can guests' parents stay?
Unfortunately we don’t have the capacity to accommodate for all the parents of party goers at once. There is a cafe just down from us if parents want to stay close and pop in from time to time. We of course welcome the birthday child’s parents, siblings and grandparents / family to stay throughout if they like!
